Good question. There are a few and they are the ones who report back the big mileage gains. The guys who get it to hot rod are more than happy as well. The good thing is, when they go on road trips or decide to drive normally, they too will see the mileage gains.

Sorry to ask a stupid ? but what does DPF stand for? I'm new to the diesel world just bought my truck going on 3 weeks ago.

DPF = Diesel Particulate Filter. Its a new thing for 07-08 brands to clean up the exhaust emissions in diesels.

Yes, you are WAY in the clear. Most guys that are stuck with the DPF are doing their best to remove it and seeing a 2-4mpg increase!

And its very easy to ditch it around two hours to switch exhaust and 5 min to do the programmer

Most my customers are seeing 2.5-3.5 MPG increase. Some seeing more. This is with EFI and exhaust.

Biggest gains seen from customers that tow. The regen is gone and this really helps while pulling a load.

Thats pretty impressive. I have had my eye on a new GMC but I have heard so many nightmares about the mileage, I've kept my distance.
