sorry big red, i wont reveal the new product. im not going to just yet. i like banks system. but i will not also bash it just because a mixture of programming issues. it just didnt work out. im happy now. its working so far. later after i install my banks in the other truck we will find out weather its was my truck or the unit. if it does it again after the learn mode on the other, then, it was the unit or the programming. but if it doesnt, oh boy, why does this new unit working and why did I have such problem adapting my truck to it. not yet blaming on any part yet. solution is first priority right now. i wil get to the bottom of this. quessing is not the answer right now. even with this new unit, i may learn that its not what i want, im not going to ruin my 60,000 truck for fun, just want it to response to the shifting. power taming is all up to the individule. you know how much your truck can take so dont push it. but you also know how much it suppose to exept. back in the days i remember my 327 500 hp 4/11 rear end .chev ll drag 1/4 in 12 sec spent thousands. that was power! power glide!!! no slip 2 speed. or shift problems. now in days, too much chip and module. and emissions bs. cant believe these monsters of weight can pull hight 14's now. wow!

Okay if I have one major complaint about my banks system its that when you call their do good, prius driving tech dept. and ask about a dpf delete tune they act like your trying to buy drugs from them. I paid over $1100 for this system and now I have to buy a $400 quadzilla to delete my dpf. All I want is a few more mpg for crying out loud.

Keep us posted. It sounds like it must be a programing issue of some kind. I have heard a lot of good stuff about that banks this is the first bad that i have really heard other than just not as powerfull as some of the others. Hope it all works out for you.

I sure will, cant wait to find out. This way it will help out banks also, they are confused and so am I. If we all work together on trouble shooting the issues we can all benifit for our products to stay on task. Just remember, everything we by, we are the ginny pigs of the products. They may have done some intense testing in the lab, but Im sure they dont go out and drive thier vehicles in conditions as we would. keep all of you posted.

Alright guys, what a week, sorry i haven't posted my results, but I do have a valid reason. Lets see where to start, first things first i guess i recieved all my parts about the same time last week on thursday and friday because I have limited time home and wanted to do it all this last weekend. Well as I went through all my boxes I soon found that my new Exhaust Manifold had a 3 inch long crack down the middle. So I contacted the company and they sent a new one next day air. So it was all still lookin up. I tore into my MBRP exhaust first, and it went pretty quick and painless. Next came the Banks Ram air and it went right along as the exhaust, easy and quick. Next I started with the BD exhaust mainfold. Kind of a pain to get to, take drivers side tire off, take out fender well, and turbo intake. All was going good with removal of old mainifold, they went to putting on new one and had it all sucked up to block and started to torque it all up and on the very last bolt it all went down hill, it broke off in the block. Luckily there was about a 1/4" sticking out so I grabbed a set of bolt extactors and came out with no damage, just very time consuming. So finally got it all mounted and torqued to specs and installed theromocouple from six-gun and put my truck back together. Then onto the Six-Gun install, which was probably the easiest to install. Plugg and play, the trick with the heavy wire through the firewall worked like a champ. Finally got it all put together and time for the initial test drive. I started out in stage one and drove it for awhile then continued to baby it and got a good 15-20 shifts in each stage throughout the next couple days. Untill yesterday when i finally made it to stage 5 which is where i planned to keep it from what I've been hearing. So still again I took it easy and got a good set of shift cycles out of it and then made a couple of hammer down runs and was amazed of the power and throw you back torque that it made and was very pleased with the results of my labor. Then as I was driving home this afternoon just to see If I could tell any difference in level 6 I proceeded to learn the tranny and then gave it one run before goin back into 5, it set off a vechicle code and put the truck into limp mode. I was only a mile from home so just idled on home. I then used the banks PDA to check the code, it said it was a fuel rail pressure relief code. I then cleared the code and brought the truck out of limp mode and put back into level 5 and it just doesn't seem to have near the power and speed that it did before. Have not had any codes since. Anyone have any suggestions or solutions to my new found problem? Thanks again for all your help.

Oh and as for the question about the HD4 conversion package. It is a Vanworks factory conversion package that Rocky Mountain Truckworks out of Colorado does to new chevys, and I think dodges. My kit includes 18" American Racing rims, BF Goodrich All-Terrain 285's, 4" tube steps, Rancho HD Suspension and Leveling kit, Stainless Grill Insert, Bushwhacker fender flares, Chrome Door Handles, Custom 2 tone paint, Graphics, Woodgrain dash, Custom Gauges, and Embroided "HD4" Headrests. I think that's about it.

The fuel code could be either a dirty fuel filter or you may need to shim your FPRV. How many miles you have on your fuel filter? i would start by changing it and then see about shimming the FPRV.

I only have about 1000 miles on a new fuel filter. What all is involved with shimming my FPRV, and would that cause any power loss?

I haven't heard of any LMM needing to do it but yes if you are requesting a lot of fuel like on level 6 you FPRV will let feul back into the take thus setting the 1093. After it does it and resets however you should have the same power until you request big fuel again. Shimming the valve isan't that bad but can be a pain to get the Glow plug control moduel braket out of the way in order to get to the fuel valve. Here is a link to the install: http://www.pacificp.com/pdf/manuals/ShimKit.pdf That is for the LLY/LBZ, but i have been told that it is the same for the LMM.
