Anyone Running Quadzilla With The Dpf Delete Download?

PPE seems a great tuner, but the DPF Delete is only on the most expensive unit at over $1000... I have been unsuccessful in getting PPE to build a run of custom units for Australia, that would limit tune to 90 HP Tow Safe, at a reasonable cost. They can do it, but only with DPF Delete built in, not as an option; and on bulk order of a number of units I have no clue as to what most are going to want. Some are afraid to do the DPF Delete.. Anyway this is about fuel economy for our people, not a business of selling tuners here so I am back to the drawing board...

I notice that Quadzilla is available under $500. I understand it runs with DTC code reader, and you can download the DPF Delete function over the Internet. Any disadvantage to this unit???

We have over 120 Dodge, Fords, and GMC, but the fastest growing tow vehicle is the LMM Silverado like my 08 LMM. I just got Warranty Acceptance for the 90 HP level "Tow Safe" from the Dealer, and towing DPF Delete looks like a 2-3 mpg increase in mileage. So, anyone running Quadzilla with the DPF Delete? Any disadvantages?

We are strictly mpg economy oriented for towing... Our Bushtracker Owners typically take a run around this little island, about 30,000 kms of travel, to figure out the best places they want to go back to...

Would like to hear from an LMM Quadzilla Owner... Cheers

We have a TON of customers running the Quadzilla LMM unit with excellent results. 3 mpg gains are very common with some in the 5 range. There are no disadvantages to the tuner that I can think of. The only thing you might want to check on is if they are compatible with Australian trucks. My guess is they are and Quad will need some info from you in order to get them running correctly. I will check with them as well.

The tech I spoke with at Quadzilla seemed to think they would work just fine on Austarlian trucks. Only one way to find out for sure though. Let me know if you want me to send one down.

Yes they do, I just bolted on my 5'' turbo back magnaflow late last night and I just got finished downloading the dpf delete option into my quad. I plan to continue to run the banks system on top of the quad dpf delete tune. I'll let you know how it works out.

Thank you Nate, at PTP...

Have sent you email.... Regarding the Quad. These are American Trucks, they have just been converted to Right Hand Drive, new dash, Steering box cross over, that sort of stuff... These Australian conversions are still American Trucks, just RHD...

On my F-350 King Ranch, I ran Edge Juice with Attitude, and the F-250 before that I ran Superchips... The Tuners work fine..

BTW: The conversion to Silverado is because my King Ranch CC F-350 Dually FX4, was too big to park in town driving, and the new Ford 6.4 twin turbo is not Complianced yet here in Oz.. Fords are more of a Truck, the Silverado is more of a luxury car. I may stay a converted Chevy man, just because the Dealer is only 45 minutes away.. But I won't bag Fords, for a work truck they are hard to beat with the monobeam front end, bigger chassis and the rest. I love the Chev, but not the weak front drive.... I would be a staunch convert if they built it with a monobeam live axle front end like the Fords.... May still stay Silverado.. but....

Don't get me wrong, I love my Silverado and how it handles, but if I was into towing a 38' gooseneck or something the F-350 Dually was an awesome tough truck for the Outback. But I built a new horse box for my Mack and the Silverado is just my luxury car... Anyway Nate, I have had 4 American trucks here, and they are the same, just RHD conversions with new dash and steering... Cheers from Oz.
