Eliminating the top speed limiter on an 08 duramax?

I have an 08 duramax with banks six gunner with pda. A bank intake, and mbrp filter back dual exhaust. my problem is that my truck wont let me go over 96 mph. how can i get rid of that b/c the banks system doesnt have the option to raise the top speed.

Hey man i have the full big hoss bundle and yea you cant change your top speed unless you stack another programmer, which i did. and banks can calibrate the speed but only with the pda and even then it doesnt correct the trucks spedo just tells you the correct speed on the pda. you can find anouther cheap programmer from pro=comp or something and use it to remove the spedo, rev., and correct tire size.

Get a PPE or EFI live and buy an turbo back exhaust for an LBZ and you are good to go. If you get a PPE or EFI live you can change the top end speedo and you will be realy happy with ether programmer.

Try to sell it. Just put it up and see what you can get for it. EFI live goes for 750 with 2 tunes and a set of guages and a piller pod go for around 300. Hope this helps. You will be very happy with the EFI live or PPE.
