| Bully Dog-PMT Hello,
I have a 08 LMM and I was talking to my dealer about the Bully Dog-PMT. They will install it and said as long as I don't drive like an animal they will honor all the warranties. I was looking to keep the extra horses under 100 anyway. I know the dealer will charge me more. Any input would be helpful and appreciated.

| PMT or PPE Did you got the Bully Dog PMT installed on your LMM duramax? I am curious on what you think of the programmer, because i am wofting between purchasing the Bully Dog PMT or the PPE. there is not allot of customer feedback on the PMT device, so any would be helpful. |

| And if you have not purchased it yet, hit me up.
My personal suggestion would be to go with the PPE, but like bondurch said, not much feedback on the PMT yet.

| Still have not purchased anything yet. I'm still thinking of going with the PMT. I'm still a little worried about the safety features on the PMT. I've heard that Bully Dog lacks the safety features that other programmers offer. |

| Of course any one will tell you one programmer is better than the others. And every owner of any programmer will say all the bad things about the others. Truth is, no programmer is perfect. They all have flaws. Just got to find the one that has flaws you can live with.
Of course, the BEST option for you is EFILive. NOBODY complains about that software, but its not plug-and-play like a handheld tuner.

| PMT and crazy larry I've been doing a little more research on the PMT and see that you can only use two of the settings if you own an LMM. Evidently you can not run Crazy Larry or the Extreme settings. I wonder if that has or will change? |

| The PMT is a very nice unit. Easy to use, and very easy to read. The Screen is clear and simple, and it has many extra funtions. Install is pretty basic, just follow the instructions. Only problem we had was the mount wasn't really as stout as we would like to see it. MAKE SURE TO READ DIRECTIONS or you will break the mount trying to get it adjusted.
AS for performance, it runs fine. No, its no PPE Hot +2, but thats not what you are looking for, is it? Its a great performing unit and has all the safety features you could want. Defuels on user set limits for -
Boost
EGT
Engine Temp
Trans Temp
Engine Oil Temp
And the touch screen doesn't suck!

| One thing that is really important, if your dealer says they will still honor the warranty, GET IT IN WRITING, and signed by the important people that would deny the warranty under normal circumstances. Otherwise, they might sell it to you, but give you the finger later on. |

| Yeah. The current mechanics might not care, but if they leave, you might be screwed.
