No the standared will not turn off Regen you need the race tuner for the LMM. The Quadzilla will also turn off Regen. And my personal favorite and I think the only way to go EFI LIVE.

NO TALKING JUST LINE IT UP
the PPE Race Tuner is the only PPE tuner that disables the DPF along with Quadzilla..the EFILive is the ultimate tuning since you have no end to different options with it.

So if I were to purchase and EFILive how would I go about getting the correct tune for a stock LMM or if I made some changes how would I go about tweaking the tunes? Is there a website that has different maps that can be downloaded for the 2007.5 chevy Duramax?
It seems like the more research you do on tuners the more confusing it becomes to pick the right tuner that does it all.
If you are interested in the EFIlive you should check out www.duramaxtuner.com.I researched for a couple of weeks but ended up buying the PPE for my own sake. If I have the capability to change everything like the EFIlive allows I would just hurt something.

ppe race tunner will turn regen off but you have to have a exhaust that deletes the dpf. and if you are getting a race programmer they are not making anymore there are like 190 left. they will make the hot but not the race anymore

You cannot hide programmers or tuners usage from the dealer. The dealer has the capability to see the last 10 flashes of the ECM. They will know if you used an aftermarket tuner or programmer.

yea you can take it off and send it in they will will try to say you had something on there but they can never prove it. had one lmm go in for some work had alot done to it took the tunning off. they said we know something was on it . ok can you show me where? nope fixed it and never said another word. old wise tale

We can actually prove of tuner and programmer usage now. Each time you use the tuner to flash a program to your ECM, it changes the Calibration Verification Number. By looking at the CVN's in the vehicle's ECM, and matching it to the CVN's listed from GM programming, we can spot the tuner usage because the tuners and programmers do not use the same CVN as GM. You may think that they can not prove it, but now we can. Unless the tuners and programmers find out how to clone a GM CVN to the ECM and keep their tuning program going as they had it tuned for, dealers can now determine actual tuner and programmer usage and you are no longer safe, unless the tech that works on your vehicle does not know about matching the CVN's to the GM database.
