edge juice trace back

i've heard that the edge juice with attitude, cannot be traced back if removed before taken to the dealer. is this true or just hopeful wishing??

This is true since the edge is a plug-in module it cannot be traced by the dealer. On the other hand a programmer like the edge evolution can be dealer traced since it reprograms the ECM.

what he said is correct its a inline device it just fools the signal, and adds the extra power instead of rewriting the program. If you dont have a edge now is the time to buy they have a great sale on $100 off juice and attitude, let me know if i can help with anything.

yes any tuner can be traced because they reprogram the ecm. TS cant edge cant and banks cant.

out of the TS Performances Power Play MP-8, edge juice with attitude, and the banks which one is the best for these lmm trucks??

Boy is that a loaded question!

Each has its own advantage.
Some really dislike Banks, but for some people its a perfect product. Its geared towards being a little more conservative than the other products. If you want smoke, look elsewhere. Otherwise, conservative tuning with good timing curve and the option of the PDA display makes it a great unit, but it is the most expensive.

The Edge is a great unit. Digital gauges are included, pricing is reasonable, and they run well. These are very popular.

TS - Least expensive and also easiest to install and uninstall. The other 2 are a more involved install and will not be easy to remove and hide from the dealer (drilled and tapped manifold is kinda a giveaway). However, you need to add into account that you NEED to purchase at the minimum a pyrometer gauge separately.

Many dealers will look the other way on the Banks because they have such a good reputation. Edge, some will look past. The TS, well, its so easy to remove its not really much of a concern.

my dealership actually sells and installs edge chips. they worked on my truck last week and i told them it had a ppe on it and if they were going to do anything i would set it to stock, they didnt listen and blew the program out, but they are gonna pay for it! Some dealerships must not care, i told them i need it to correct my tire size hehe

The dealer ship did that to mine too, but the PPE still recognized my truck and just resaved the stock program and let me put a tune back in it.
