yeah, like he said the stock ones can't be cleaned but they are the best you can get. You should have a filter minder on you air box. When ever it gets close to the red change it out. I would just go back with ac delco filter.

I would just get the ac delco replacement. I wish i would have never bought the CAI there really isan't any gain that i can tell other than a louder turbo whistle. The intakes on the LBzs and LMMs are CAI anyway, you can't hardly beat them.

the filter wont help whistle any its the whole cai that does because draws more air, and has smoother intake tube.

i wouldn't go with the k&n. i had one on mine for about 2 months. it was always seting off the maf sensor and sending the truck into limp mode. now the k&n is just sitting in the shop for decoration. lol

Just stick with ac delco. Look up the turbo resontaor mod. that'll make the whistle louder. On second thought here I did it for ya: Louder whistle sounds good.

do that, but stick with the stock filter and intake.

If you do go with a reusable drop in filter, go with the afe....I think they have one that is a proguard 7. As far as having a louder whistle with it....my turbo whistle got louder when I had a K&N (stopped using it once I started reading more on the forums and looking at my truck and seeing dust in the intake after the filter). I could tell a difference in sound between the stock and k&n. My turbo whistle got pretty loud after the CAI from AFE.....but I have to agree, it doesn't do much more than a stock intake...
