The bad thing about the TS-MP8 is that it is a fueling box which will cause a little more black smoke. Since you will be running it with the dpf you may shorten the life of the DPF filter. If you are going to keep the dpf i would suggest running a banks chip. It will not be traceable since it is a inline chip that alters the readings instead of Flashing the ECM. The banks tunes are "clean" tunes and won't plug your dpf up.

this early in, i just want the mpg gains, if it will help??? when i first got my 2000 F550 i put a superchips and k+n drop in, it jumped it 4 mpg. sometimes more out on the road. but since someone felt they needed it more than we did, its no longer here... the 07 5500 is the replacement. will the banks help any??? or is it pointless with the dpf still attatched???

most of the warranty troubles and problems with the new engines are traced back to the DPF causing to much heat so IMO i wouldn't hesitate removing the DPF and voiding my warranty, for instance if you increase by 4MPG and over a 10,000 miles period you can save alot of cash so now saved enough that you can do some repairs on your tuck yourself and still be ahead money wise but voiding a warranty it's kinda like me and gambling you win some and lose most.don't feel like you have to follow this advice but we have a local guy here that just did the DPF delete and with a 5MPG increase running a Quadzilla he has saved enough already to make it worth it.
