| Newbie question
 Ok, learning curve please!!! I just purchased a 07 C5500, does anyone know if the regular LMM chips will work along with the computer set up in this truck or if it is programed different? thanks for any info...

| I don't know for sure, but I think they're the same. I'm pretty sure they'd be set up the same as the older ones, which I believe are the same as the pickup engines. The programmers were exhangeable on them. I'd go ahead and go for it. You can always return it if it won't work. | |

| Wel the cummins cab and chassis are diff from the pick-up so i would be leary of doing anything until for sure.

| not trying to be an ass, but it could cause a expensive problem if have problems communicating with the ecm.

| Usually, if the programmer has problems with an ECM, it will tell you before downloading anything. One of the safety features built into all programmers. If it recognizes your VIN, your all good. If it dont, unplug it.

| well the PPE had problems with the reflash, and when i got my Quadzilla last year it went to load and froze pulled it off truck would not start had to wait on quad to get to me by emailing me an update.
