5" Dual Exhaust???

Just wondering if any company out there makes a 5" turbo back dual exhaust that would fit on the LMM? I have only found the 4" for a LLY and LBZ that would fit. I'm tired of the DPF and scrappin that too. Should I go with a straight pipe or with a muffler? I like my trucks loud but didn't know if there we any benefits to a low-restriction muffler. Thanks

As far as I know of, there is -0- manufacturer that makes a dual 5". Not to say it dont exist, but I just dont know of any.

BUT, I can tell you that I am in discussions with another supplier who can custom make a 5" dual system, exiting anywhere you choose, with our without a muffler. It can be made out of aluminum, 409 or 304 stainless. I should know pricing early this week and will keep you updated.

Most don't make the 5" because of the room to get over the axle in the rear. It's pretty tight for the 4".

Fair enough, now I'm just debating on wether or not to get the MBRP 4" Turbo Back Duals with muffler. I have a long drive every week of about 10 hours. Will I be happier with an muffled exhaust on this long trip? Anyone have this MBRP XP exhaust with muffler and compare the tone to a turbo back straight pipe?

I think you will be happier with a muffler, but thats just my opinion.

Get the muffler, and if you want it louder down the road it's no big deal to delete. The sound with the muffler is great, it's just not very loud.

I have the Silverline 304 Duals with the muffler and love them! It has great sound and look even better than the megaphone that was there!

SOme like the straight pipe sound, others get annoyed after a while. As previously mentioned, get the system and see if you like it with the muffler. If you want more sound, order the dual muffler delete.

btw- 4" duals are a tight fit. 5" duals would have major rubbing and clearance issues.

I agree in y experience it would be way to much work to try and do full 5" duals under the Dmax.
