started pulling apart stering colum thinking must be a switch to tell truck when key is in. Found small white switch on top of key cylinder that was activated with key in. Took and released keeper on left side of switch and rotated it clock ways and pulled straight up to remove. Found this disabled door chime when key is in and door open. Put everything back together and left switch sitting on top of colum as seen in pic under plastic cover.
