2015 lml ticking on deceleration

Hi. I have a question regarding my new Duramax. I've noticed that during deceleration I have a ticking noise that sounds like a bad lifter. It doesn't happen all the time just mostly when I let off the throttle at highway speeds. It will do a quick tap tap tap for about 3 seconds and that's it. I've done a search but never found a solution. Thanks in advance for any info

I'm thinking that it must be something to do with the injectors.

Well I don't feel so crazy now. At first I thought it was mod related but I have that too. Mine is at random speeds not just highway.

Mine does it too. Seems to be louder when I have my exhaust brake on and the truck downshifts when slowing down. Sometimes it does it, sometimes it doesn't. Sometimes you can barely hear it, sometimes its pretty noticeable. Does it for a few secs then goes away. Glad to see it happens to others lol.

Isn't this the "typewriter" tick that all Dmaxs do? Mine does it too.

Is it? I thought that was mostly at idle?? Mine only makes these tapping noise when I let of the throttle and start to decelerate.
