I know people who have dmax's that take em "to the track" often to race. They always run theirs in 4wd. Is that not hard the transfer case/ everything else from the transmission up?

Better tierods and stronger pitman and idler arms is all you need to launch pretty much all out. A solid/straight centerlink is a good idea too but isn't necessary.

Drop the front end down before launching it, that's the cheapest and easiest thing to help the front end live...
Add a cognito brace kit and some HD tie rods or sleeves and you're good to go!!
I broke the shittt out of my front end launching and left myself in the middle of the road :cookoo[1]: Went back and beefed up everything possible and im still too scared to launch.
