I left my 2003 2500 sitting in front of the house and drove my wife's new rice rocket to Green Bay, when I got back those new batts were so dead the dome light would not come on. The only after market part on the truck is the brake control. When the batts were repalced I also replaced the alt, it was bad and that killed the old batts.
My question is how much of a battery draw should there be just sitting??? I'm guessing in the milliamp range??? I asked my friendly GM dealer, got the deer in the headlight stare
