| the 304SS is stainless steel and the 409SS is glorified metal(just being sarcastic)but what i'm trying to say is the 409SS is classed as a SS metal but it will rust after some time but for the money you save i wouldn't worry.i'm runnin 409SS on my truck and so far so good.
