| Head studs are not hard just very time consumming. U can take 1 bolt out at a time but if i was u before i done the gt40 i would deffantly look into some rods and pistion. And why your that far down put a cam in the truck. It will cost u about 7500 dollars to do all this which is cheaper then about 15000. Just my .02
