I have 285s on 16x8 rims and no lift in the front. I only have a very minor rub when at full lock and going over a bump. If you use stock wheels, they work even better seeing that they don't push the tires out past the fenders like mine are now. I did however use a few zipties to tie back the fenderliner on the driver's side. Each truck is slightly different though.
