| The last aftermarket bumper I did was on a 96 F150, and I was told that the airbags wouldn't work the same as stock. I don't remember if that meant they would deploy early because the bumper doesn't crush, or if they would require higher impacts to deploy. At the time I was young and drove alone and didn't care, so I really don't remember.
