the michelins will dry-rot before they are fully worn, due mostly in part to the chemical makeup of the rubber. I see the running consistantly 40 to 50k and stand up to gravel damage better and at 2/3 the price of the Mx. But the ltx at2 will ride and handle better.. and due to the amount of mileage you will get, the Total Cost of Ownership of the Mx will be cheaper. btw price mark-up on passenger, light truck, and medium truck in the Midwest market is only $20-$30 per tire... multiply that by %25, and figure how many tires you have to sell to make a living
