| Does Anyone Run 33x12.50's? Hello to all! I'm new to this forum and finally bought my first diesel, an 05 2500HD. I had 285's installed a few months ago with a leveling kit but I'm interested in playing musical tires with my wifes truck that needs new tires. Looking for suggestions to running 33x12.50 BFG tires on my truck. I do use my truck to tow, typically less than 10,000 lbs. but not looking to lose any towing capability. I know I will have to get aftermarket rims, but as for backspacing and width of rim I wouldn't have a clue as what would be required for me to run 33's. Any help will be great. Pics would be awsome too!
Thanks in advance! |

| Don't forget, Lem was doing an update, so the site was down for various periods in the last couple of days. This site is new and we are lucky to get 100 posts a day some days. I don't run 33x12.50 per say, but I run 285/75-16 tires like you do now.

| I run 33x12.5 Mickey T Dick Cepek FCII's on 17" Hummer rims. The Hummer rims are very inexpensive, look good, and fit perfect with these tires. I don't need my T-bars cranked to fit them. The only downfall is the fuel mileage drops about 3mpg with these larger tires over stock. |
