dam fuel filters

so i hop in my truck this morning, fire it up and 10 sec later...she dies. wtf! so i try again....nothing. pop the hood, bleed the fuel system and watch the diesel come from the filter
i have just under 5000miles on this filter. it is a gm filter
when i bought the truck back in december the same thing happened. its hasnt been freezing temps at night but close. o i do run redline additive?

sounds like you got some bad fuel....maybe some water in it. Other than that, I don't know. I have never had that problem with mine.....my truck has been outside the last 6 weeks with no problems. I do run stanadyne in every tank, but the weather here in anchorage is milder than fairbanks (where I normally am).
