| A/C Hose Failure I recently had the High Pressure Hose for the A/C system which goes from the compressor to the condenser fail (sudden rupture) right above the alternator. In reviewing the failure it is obvious the heat from the alternator is cooking the hose and the insulation GM puts over it above the alternator. Has anyone else experienced this failure? Check yours and see if the hose is embrittled from the heat. I'd like to hear from you.
