| Aftermarket Steering Wheel Controls
I have a 2006 GMC SLE2 2500HD extended cad. When I bought the truck one of the options that was a must have were the steering wheel mounted radio controls, as you can guess I settled without them but got some other options instead. My father had a 2003 with them and I was looking at the dash and the two trucks seemed identical. What I am wondering is it possable to pull the steering weel and replace it with one with the controls and is the dash pre wired from the factory as if it was going to have this option? I remember it was only a $150 option new, so I can't imagine that the factory would have 2 different dashboards for this option, just a different steering wheel. Any insight would be great.
