My 01 2500HD is a sle it has the power mirrors but no signal lights nor is it heated. I am looking to get after market replacements that are expandable, I want to keep the electric adjustments weather they are electric fold in or not I dont care, My question is all the electric mirrors I have seen are heated, will mine still plug in to the plug? I can wire the heated to work off a switch if needed but I dont want to modify the factory plug to keep the adjustment. I can not find a pair that are reasonable in cost that arent heated. Any help is appreciated!

Im not sure about the plug, but have you checked ebay there are a lot of great mirror pair deals on there.
I have and those have the best price, But they are ether all manual or electric and heated, that is why i was asking, I may buy and try if this thread dosen't pan out for me after a few days

How does the heat work, my mirrors now are not heated?
Mine didnt have heated mirrors eather, but the new ones do. The plug from the factory mirrors were the same as the heated ones just the factory mirrors had empty places in the plug that the new ones had filled with wire, These 2 extra wires are what i assume to be the heated part. I will look into it more and a little later hook the heated up part up as soon as i get the polarity with wire color.
