| You just pop off the dash, carefully so you don't crack it. Use a flat srew driver where the tabs are if you need to. Then you remove the 4 srews from around the instrument cluster and unplug it and you're done. It can be driven without it, if you need to, you just won't know anything that is going on with your engine. I drove mine, but it was only 3 miles one way to work. Just an fyi, your engine light will come on once you reinstall it because it is just going through checks. I drove it once it was back together, then unplugged the batteries and it reset. It was worth getting fixed when an officer let me go after stopping me for doing 92 in a 70, cause my speedo was pointing straight down. |
