tires

hey guys jw whats the biggest tire i can fit on my 06 gmc 2500 ext cab short bed 4x4. i dont want to do any kind of lift but could i fit 285/75/16 bfg all terrains on the stock wheels and have it clear everything?

That is the exact tire and everything i have one mine. They will clear, but you will have to trim the corners on the bumper a little bit. you will probably have to crank your torsions a couple of time as well.

I run those exact tires on factory wheel on my '03 Chevy ext cab short bed. Fit without trimming, I just cranked up the torsions 'til it was level. Remember to get an alignment.

Im running a bfg mud terriain with no rubbing or cutting at all on the stock wheel.
