Not constant but I would say 90% of the time and yes,his was the same thing.He blamed it on Chevy having a cheap plastic interior.

thats funny cause IMO chevy has probably the best quality interior in any truck ive been in

not sure if on passenger side but my 2005 squeeks from the steering colum

i have the same kind of squeak, it comes from the passenger side door up at the top, the plastic rubs on the metal never know when it will happen. Just keep putting it off to fix.

problem discovered! passenger side ball joint is shot to hell and the drivers side is worn pretty bad, went to have it checked out and les schwab told me $675 to replace both sides with new upper control arms!!

looks like im going to napa and doing the fix myself then take it back for an alignment!!

you can get the cognito ones for 450. I would recommend them since you have a lift already.

yeah i looked into those but they arent in the budget, i can make the 130 at napa work though, ill have to go with cognito the next time they are replaced though

Yeah...you may want to tack weld your ball joints in the arms if you do any offroading. I have read where some balljoints have popped out of the arms.

hey any idea if theres a write up on how to do a set of upper ball joints? its always nice to have something to look back on when your in the middle of the project
