New to duramax's and i'm in the market. I've found a few good deals on some nice extended cab trucks but i was really looking for a crew cab. This will be carting a family around and be a daily driver.......what's the difference in room between an extended cab and crew cab?
If i settled for an extended cab...would i be happy with it?
IMO if you are looking for a crew cab you will never be happy with an extended cab. I have rode in the back of a extended cab for a 3 hour ride with my knees pinned against the front seat. I am not a big individual at all at only 5' 8". When I bought mine I wanted to have plenty of room in the back seat for people of any size. I also dont like having to open my door for someone to get in the back seat. So those are some things to keep in mind. Happy Hunting

Coming from a guy that bought a extended cab even though I really wanted a crew cab. I would go with the crew cab. You will not be happy with the extended cab. That is one reason I sold my truck the other reason was because I wanted a duramax. If you settled with the ext cab you will never be happy. Hold out till you can find a good deal on a crew cab.
go with the crew cab. I had extended cab trucks before and when i was looking for a new truck, the dealer wanted to sell me an extended cab....i told him i would drive it, but wouldnt buy it. Then all of a sudden after i drove it, he remembered that there was a crew cab for sale...the owner's demo. That is the one i ended up with. I have been pretty happy with it.
