i just bought a pair of seat covers for my truck today and to put them on i need to take off all my headrest. Ive tried pulling on them and they wont come all the way off. Mine are not the ones with the button on the plastic piece that you press to let them all the way off. It an 05' crew cab with the fold down console/seat up front and 40/60 seat in back. Any ideas would be great.
Thanks,
Paul

as jess said...and get one side up past the pin, while keeping it held up do the same to the other side. i took mine off and took a grinder to the slot on the post...this way i can take them off when ever i have the rear seats folded down so i can have alittle more leg room up front as well the seats will fold back up with out all that pressure on it. just an idea for since you will have them off...they are kinda of a pain in the ass with that pin.

got them off. Thanks a bunch. i tried several paper clips and they all kept bending so i ended up useing a push pin. it worked great. Thanks for the help. and by the way they are Sportsman's camo covers and they fit awesome. they cover every bit of my upolstery including my console and behind my cup holders on the back seat and they very tight fitting.
