i have an 06 crew cab short bed with the 26 gallon tank can i put in a 34 gal tank out of a 2002 reg cab long bed? will i only need to swap the pick up tube assembly or is it a lot more involved
I dont think it is that simple. Take a look at the transferflow OEM replacement tank. I think the way it is shaped, you cant use a stock 34 gallon tank. If it were that easy, i think you would have heard more about it.

yea thats what i figured im about to do an in bed transfer tank and tool box combo but just currious if i could sneek in an extra 8 gallons for cheep i love the titan tanks but not the price still very interested if anyone knos for sure!
Yeah...if it was easy, it would be an option from the factory i would think. hmm, my buddy just bought a 98 gallon in bed tank for around 400. It stays below the bed rails too. Of course the toolbox is really nice to have too.

i was looking to make it around 35-40 wich is fine by me im in south dakota which is kinda remote but not alaska remote lol but i could have aditional 48 if i do the long bed tank...possibly
awww, who needs the toolbox...just get a 98 gallon one and be done with it...
yeah. I have only ever carried 20 extra gallons in my truck. I do want the in bed tank, but i dont want to have to fill it.. Of course it will just be a bigger hit at one time.
