tuff country lift kit

I've been looking into putting one of these on my truck, would like to do a fabtech or cognito but kinda on a budget. I can get the 6" lift from Tuff Country for around $1500 has anyone heard anything about these kits? thanks

I think you can get a pro comp kit for less then that, and I think they are better quality

1500 for the TC kit is pretty good price.. is that with shocks? also is your rig a 2wd or 4wd?

i can prob beat that price for a procomp unit with shocks and everything but not with shipping....

Procomp is a drop down UCA style (old style) kit. Not as strong as a spindle kit. On drop UCA kits you have way more cutting and it makes it very hard to return to stock.

Fabtech & Tuff Country kits are nice and kits that are very easy on the budget since they are very basic in components that are included in the kit.

If you want a lift that is top of it's class the Cognito is great. Cognto will cost you more but thats due to many upgrades that Cognito is known for.
