Broke cooling line at firewall!!!

I was trying to remove the cooling line from the firewall fitting so I could replace the line and the fitting broke.. I'm almost positive the line goes to my heater core. My truck is a 2002 3/4 ton manual transmission work truck. I know I've created myself a huge problem, I'd just like to know what I'm up against to replace the fitting thats behind the firewall, cost, hidden problems, and any other suggestions..

Thanks in Advance
Mike

If that's a cooling line, you broke the heater core. You'll have to replace it by removing most of the dash on the passenger side. It's a lot of work and most of the cost will be just the core.
