i have the stock power mirrors but they arent heated and i am switching to the power heated camper mirrors and i need to know what i need to do to get them to be heated. thanks
Mine do. When the left/right selector switch is in the middle position, use the left/right function of the four way adjust to move them in and out.

There are two different styles of camper mirror. The ones with the accordian style rubber (older but do offer power extend) and the twin stalk (newer) with a much larger mirror (manual extend). The wire harness inside the door mey have all the wires on it for the power extend and you may not have to get a new switch it may also have the power for the turn signals. But if you do not have heated mirrors now you may have trouble adding them. The mirror heat switch usually is mounted in the center consule right next the the defrost button for your climate control.
I have helped a few buddies change their small mirrors to trailer mirrors (both styles). Two of them did not have heated and turn signal mirrors to begin with but after pluging them in the turn signals in the mirror worked and we found the wire for the heat in the mirror and found a corrisponding wire in the harness. After opening the dash in the center we found the same wire and just added a switch (from GM) and ran a power wire from the fuse block to it and the HEAT worked.
