| cold weather starting If the truck has been sitting for a couple of days in cold weather my 2001 Duramax stalls after running for 20 to 30 seconds. The fuel filter has to be primed for it to start again. Has any one else had this problem? |

| nope, maybe your o-ring to your filter is messed up or your bleeder screw is leaking air and not sealing properly. When was the last time you changed your fuel filter? I normally put a little petroleum jelly on the gaskets/o-rings and have never had a problem. Also had the truck sit for a month this last summer with no problems.

| I'd guess your truck has a air leak in the fuel system also. My 96 CTD had a very tiny crack in a flexible fuel line. Replaced the flexible line and solved the hard starting issue. I'll replace the flex line on my chevy before that long, once is enough. |

| i'm curious if your fuel is gelling a little. Has it been doing this a while or just this one time?
