cd player

does anyone have ne idea how to git the stock cd player out? Mine just went south and i need to replace it.

Pull the molding off around it and take 2 screws out of the bracket that holds the stock radio. You may have to pull it a little to get it off the pins. the wire harness might need to be pulled through. It may seem that you are pulling against the wire harness...You probably are. You might need to pull the HVAC controls and feed the wires so you have slack.

Bum CD Player

Mine went south too. It can be removed by pulling the plastic trim facia that frames the instrument cluster off. It just snaps into the dash. From there, you can pull the CD player using a few tools and a little thinking. I was told it is best to drop the steering column, but found that is not necessary due to the flexibility of the plastic trim facia.

Just Remove The Trim And Remove The 7mm Bolt Holding It In,i Rpl Mine With A Nav Unit Out Of A Esclade With Non Lux Opt,nice Up Grade!!!!
