| Yes, they are a pain, but mine has held strong, even when I was sure they were gonna break. Hell, my driver side hook even pulled off a hitch off of a Ford, lol. Stupid design, limits your use to a chain unless you have other assessories handy to hook up.

| I just put a front replacement with some good strong d-links. I know those will hold up they pulled a tractor out when it was stuck

| My old 90' Chevy had the tow hooks underneath the bumper attached to the frame. Very easy to get to, very strong to. Same for my 79' Chevy. I don't know why they decided to tuck them away. Guess they thought no one uses them anymore.
