Extending Remote Start Time

a remote starter with multipile channels to turn seats on. As for the heat/ac... just leave it on before you shut the truck down. I see your in Jersey, come on up, I can set you up

My girlfriends father has a 2005 or 2006 Chevy Duramax and he told me on his truck there was a way to turn up the idle for startup. The reason for this would be to warm the truck up a little fast anyone heard of this?

Cory, with my 08 on the dic / system settings there is a high idle setting. Not sure if that is the same for the older trucks?

I have a 09 I haven't seen anything in the dic. Am I just missing it or so they no longer have it?

Should be in the menu list along with tilting the mirrors for reverse, power seat all the way back at exit, what lights turn on when using your remote and all that other stuff.
I think you have to have the factory remote start option for the high idle also.

Is there anyway to increase the starter crank time? When it gets cold my truck need like an extra second to crank over. As it is right now it attemps to turn on in literally a half second crank which fails... then it keeps trying to crank every 10 seconds these worthless half second cranks that cant start the truck up.
