Park Assist

How do you reset the park assist. After towing it will no longer come on. When the switch is pressed the light in it flashes 3 times, then the message "Park Assist Off" appears.

do you still have your hitch in?

Have you shut the truck off after towing and restarted it?

The trailer has been disconnected for several days. So the the truck has definately been restarted since this problem started. I just can't turn the park assist back on.

i think mike is asking if your hitch is still in though, even though the trailer is disconnected. if it is, the sensors can see it & trip the backup sensor.

Yep, I did the same thing. Left the ball in the receiver and it would do the same thing.

You can also have that adjusted by the dealer so that you can leave your ball in as well if you are like me and ride with it in most of the time...
