torsion keys

so whats the secret of getting these dang things out? got a friends dmax that im putting keys in and i cant get them free. everything is loose tension is off even loosen the torsion bar crossmeber. so whats the secret.

You need the torsion key unloading tool to hold the weight of the torsion bar.

oh no i already got the tension of the bars. the bolt and the holder are loose. i just cant get the keys off the bars. im starting to think that they are pressed in. i have no clue i drive a ford

The keys arent pressed in, but have been under a ton of pressure for along time, I hit mine with a hammer a few times when i put in my drop keys and that did the truck.
