how about the most obvious one... 75 MP(H) for 8 hours. (the "G" and "H" are awful close together on the keyboard.)

In a 2500 crew 4x4 with 305 buckshots, 12 mpg is all I get and do nothing but city driving. My manual calc and DIC are almost always the same.

Just got done with a 200 mile road trip that involved some city driving and got 17.5 mpg. This is with my PPe set on level 3 and only 2500 miles on the truck. I got around 10 mpg pulling my 8000lb enclosed trailer 65-70 mph with the PPE on level 2. I plan on switching to level 1 and see mpg I get loaded and unloaded.

Mike3500drw, what gears do you have in order to maintain a 1500rpm @70? I have 373's and am close to 1,900 rpm.

I also have 373's like I said around 1800 at 70 . It was just a quick glance. I could have been on the flat or down a small grade not one bit of flat road hear in Pa. Sounds like were in the same ball park. One other thing my dually came with 225/75/17 's on it. I hate them looks like a papa truck. Oh ya plastic hub caps what a joke. You would think for 48000 they would be aluminum.

I would guess he was running 75 mph, My 07 Classic was averaging 16.5mpg with the 245/16 tires on,I put on 265/17 tires on and it's now around 14mpg,but I think part is that my speedo is off.

I like your truck Mike! I looked for 2 months to find a dually in the classic, could not find one. The dealer did a 500 mile search still nothing. My problem is i wanted two wheel drive, so I had to settle for the truck I have now. I did not want the new style, they just were not that atractive to me. But they have grown onme.

You can see from my signature what I have on my truck. I drive alot of backroads, numerous red lights, stop and go traffic. I live @ 50 miles north of Atlanta, very mountainous and hilly, even on the Interstate. I keep @ 40-45psi in my 35" tires, I get on average 12.5 to 13.5 mpg
