what kind of driving you doing (city I am assuming) and how many miles on it? Have you taken a highway trip with it? I am also assuming that those numbers are hand calculated right? (not that it matters, because you have to be filling up quite a bit with that mileage) Also, what configuration is your truck (2500HD, 3500 dually, crew cab, extended cab)?

2007.5 3500HD SRW 4X4 Regular cab. LMM Duramax, Allison 6 sp. auto. That is city driving only so far. Truck has 1200 miles. Only Mod. is the K&N filter. The mileage is Per the onboard display. At $3.27 per gallon for ULSD here I haven't been able to completely fill up and get a hand calculated MPG.

First off...I would get rid of the K&N filter.....they are nothing but bad for your truck. They let way to much dirt and crap through. Second....you need to hand calculate your mileage....because the onboard computer will never for any reason be right...especially when you buy a new truck. Mine said 10.6MPG when I first bought it...and after 2 months or so it made it's way to 15.2...and my hand calculations were 17.5....so it's WAY off. And considering you have a 3500....your gasmileage won't be what most people on here post....considering you have a heavier truck.
