When I'm, crusin around the city, and using my brakes a fair bit they seem to get hot enough for me to smell them. is this anything to be overly worried about, or is it normal because of the 35" tires? doesn't seem right seein as it a "HD" deisel and it should be able to hold up a lil better I would think. I usuallly drive around in tow/haul. Thanks

Id get out and feel the wheels. See if one is hotter than the other. Maybe a caliper is sticking?

Agree with Towmaster, and I would suggest giving the emergency/parking brake cables a look. If you don't use them a lot, they stick. I wouldn't think hard, normal driving should produce the kind of heat needed to make the barkes smell. Something is going on.

It is "possible" that you've overloaded the brakes with the larger tires but I think I'd check the calipers first also.

i had both of my rear calipers on my truck stick. hard to notice because the dmax has enough power to pull it without even grunting

It does get confusing! I sent you a p.m.
