Question Wheel to Wheel Nerf Bars for 08 HD Crew Cab

I'm interested in getting some nerf bars for my 08 Silverado HD Crew Cab Standard Box. I would like to get a set of wheel 2 wheel steps because I think they would make it easier to step up and get into a tool box, but I'm not sure if they will look good. Anyone have any recommendations on these and a good place to get them?

Question

Those are cool. I've been looking at some of the ones that Westin makes in chrome/stainless, but aren't sure how they would look on the truck. I also like the oval ones that GM sells, that aren't full length. They are pricey, and I'm not sure how those would look either. I'd like to be confident in my decision before I shell out the $$. Anyone got any info and pics of their steps they could post?

wish i had some pictures of these.. i have sold many of them and they look very good on any truck.... i dont like any of the other nerf bars because they stick out soo much... with the N-fabs the main bar tucks right next to the body with only the steps coming down... go with the 6 step ones...

I went with the GM ones. Don't have a pic right now, but will have a night pic in a few.

The n-fab do look great, but don't think the older people getting into my truck would appreciate them as much as I would... sucks getting old!

Oops, just re-read the first post and I don't have wheel to wheel. Sorry about that.

Not a problem. I like the ones GM has available and would love to see a pic of them on an actual truck. I've just seen them in the parts dept on the wall.

I did find some made by Bullydog available locally that are wheel to wheel. The price is attractive, but I don't know how they will look on an actual truck. Anyone have an opinion about these or have any pics to share?

I have the DeeZee bars on my truck, like them but if I ever hsd to buy some, I will have to agree with a couple of the other guys- the N Fab bars are really killer. Just my 2cents. I swore up and down I'd never have a truck with step bars, but with 4 inches lift and 315/70's it begins to be a leg hike!!!
