GMC and Chevy door panels

Does anyone know if the 2008 GMC and Chevy door panels are interchangeable? I love the truck but I'm having issues with the GMC door panel with the handle toward the front. My knee rests up against it in my regular sitting postion and it bugs the hell out of me. I'm thinking of changing the door panel to the Chevy one that will get rid of the handle if it will fit. If not I guess I'm going to have to go to a custom interior shop and see what they can do.

They should interchange.. But Id think they'll be the same thing with the handle in the same location.
