Under Truck Neon Or Led Lighting????

Have any of you put the under car neon or led lighting kits on your LMM. I am wondering if heat from DPF and exhaust would melt tubes or cause issues due to the high temp regens. I would love to have that under truck blue or amber glow at night but wanted to see if anyone else has installed and if there were any issues.

Yep, I was leaning more towards the led tubes just because of their durability and life span. I just dont want them to be visible other than the glow off the road. I hate it when you can see the light tubes from the side.

I agree but the one good thing I like about the LED's is it looks more like you have "Trucker Style" lights under it rather than "I want to talk smack about ricers neon lights" they to me look todally different and would give you bright white truck a good look.. Ive seen a couple D max's that have done this and they look good. most of them where towing a horse trailor...

So farmers and ranchers running neons under there trucks?? Not trying to bust balls I just do not see that unless there was some sort of functional purpose to it other then pure astetic's. Let's see some pics maybe that could sway my thinking on the subject. Sorry for the hi jack as apparently all I can add is my oppinion due to the fact I have never seen them on a D-max or ran them on any of the 59 vehicles I have ever owned. Like previosly stated to each there own and best of luck to you with whatever you decide to do with your truck

Check out the RECON amber Led running bar strip lights. It looks real neat and I had them on my '00 Cummins dually.
