TowMaster........where did you purchase the box from? Was this an expensive set-up? Time consuming? How well does it work? Sorry for all the questions. Just want to make sure I am getting my bang for the buck.

I bought the box from a company on ebay. The box is real nice im happy with it! The whole setup cost about $500.00 IIRC
Box $140.00
10' subs $80.00 for both.. Buy 1 get 1 sale at circuit city
Amp $150.00
Amp hook up kit $40.00
RCA inverter $25.00
RCA's $15.00
(prices are as close to what I remember)
I got lucky and found a sale on subs. Im really happy with the system. It took about 2 hours the longest thing was running the power and remote wire to the battery. Not sure if you messed with stereos before but the stock radio doesnt come with RCA hookups so I had to but a inverter and this thing was awesome! I didnt want to mess with a aftermarket radio and loose the steering wheel controls so I got the RCA converter where you have to tap into the speeker wires. I tapped into the speaker wire in the door pillar betwen the front and rear doors. Then ran speaker wire and put the inverter by the amp so I didnt have to waist money on long RCA's.
I went with a Rockford fosgate amp because of there sub level knob. You can adjust the level on the fly! The stock radio doesnt come with a sub adjust like a aftermarket one does.
I found a link to the actual company. Im real happy with the box. Without a doubt Id get one from them again!
If you have any more questions just give me a yell

Yo Fireman! The box that I have is pretty old, but has been very useful, I got it locally here in seattle at a place called cartoys, but that was in '98 for an s-10 ss I had. Since then it's been in two other vehicles, but this will be the best fit. Still haven't had time to remove the stereo, but I'm sure it will be worth it, relatively cheap parts and pieces, and not really going to sacrifice rear cargo area...
On my 07.5 I put 2 12s in it and hooked my amp up buy using a converter and tapping in to my rear speakers, my main power wire is ran straight to the battery and the ground is hooked up to the rear seat brackets, and my switch wire is hooked up under the dash (somewhere in the box that the brake controller is pluged in)
Anyway after having it hooked up that way for a few weeks my truck desides to lock up, No run not even turn over, no radio, door lock buttons and keyless not working, among with some service messages.
After getting it into the shop they said it was my amp pulling juice and making it BCM think someone was trying to steel my raido and the security system lock everything up. Even after they got it running there was some things on his computer that were not responding and as soon as I unhooked the amp everthing started working again.
Sorry this is so long, but if no one else is haveing this problem the only thing I can think of is were I have my switched wire hooked up.
Where else can I hook it up to? None of the fuses in the side of the dash are switched?
Wow I never heard of that! Im guessing the remote wire wold be more to blame than current draw on the truck. I mean these trucks are designed to have light bars and electric snow plow lift pump's etc.

I think your reffering to the "remote" wire?
There are a few wires you can tap into. I bought a fuse adapter at the auto parts store. Im not sure if theres a name for it but it plugs into one of your fuse slots. Then gives one fuse for the one you took out and another fuse with a wire for a good power source.
