Gooseneck/Fifth Wheel wiring problems?

Are any of you having check trailer wiring or check trailer brake system messages after installing gooseneck/fifth wheel plug in bed of truck. I had one installed and they tied into the wiring provided at front of bed but I am getting these messages occaisionally.

Thanks for any help.

This is with no trailer hooked up. It does it while empty and nothing plugged in.

I can not answer that then. Probably will have something to do with the 5th wheel wiring. I am assuming it did not happen before that, correct?

Thats correct, started after they installed wiring and plug. I had them check it again today though and they said all okay.

First Ford 08 developed a knock after oil change. Second truck did the same and had vibration isuues and body panel issues.

check and see if its wired in at the fuse box under the hood--on mine the extra wiring for the fifth wheel is not--its wrapped up along side of box--the one in back on bumper is already hooked up - not the extra wiring along the frame

mine had the extra pigtail in the center console, had to have it hooked up. I think he has already done that, now he is having problems with the job they did. If I am wrong let me know.
