Tire Pressure Monitoring System Question

Is the TPMS sensor on a band that fits around the wheel or is there some other attachment method? Will the TPMS sensors that come with the 16x6.5 tires/wheels fit on the 17x7.5 wheels or are they different? Thanks for the help.

My father said that TPMS is on the stem inside the tire and it cost a pretty penny if you damage it......

on the inside of the stem is a piece about the size of a pack of chewing gum-fits right to the rim on the bottom of the stem-my tire shop tells me they run $75 or so-i took a look at it while they had my tires off
