2007.5 + (GMT 900) Non Powertrain--New Body Style--Discussion 07.5 + Topics Not related to the Powertrain, interior, suspensions, body, wheels, tires, ect.
When talking about fitting, there is alot to think about.
Wheel size, How wide and B.S
What size lift and how is it set. Since these trucks are torsion bar style they can be adjusted and that is up to the install to set it at the prime pre-load stance to best clear the chosen tire and wheel package and travel point. I have seen many trucks over pre-loaded with NO drop out travel and that makes for a very bad ride.

Wide Wheels are very bad for the new IFS, anything over 10" will cut the HUB assembly life in Half. Older straight axles like a Dana 60 kingpin or good 50 or 44 can handle up to 14" without much trouble.
Like what Nor-Cal Nick stated you really have to watch the BS because that will determine the amount of wear amplified by the width and also the amount the tire/wheel combo will swing into the fender wells when turning cutting your turning radius down.
If you really want a sweet lift go with a ORU Straight axle conversion for $15k including the Dana 60 axle (All bolt on) the only thing you have to do is have the drive lines fixed.
SUSPENSION:
ORU 4-Link solid axle Dana 60 conversion with King coil over shocks, Front ARB air locker, 4:56 gears and ORU diff covers. Rear Atlas springs with King 2.5 remote reservoir shocks and ORU Ram Assist.
Here is mine, it is a cognito 12in on 40's. It has been on for about 5 months now and it has been flawless. I did get the heim joint steering and the bigger swaybar. No rubbing either
Way to go on your Cognito Kit. I did have one on my 03 GMC 12" 38.5" Pro Comp Tires. I would have to say your did everything right, they're one of the best kits out with tons of extra upgrades. The biggest being steering and upper A-Arms.
I think the only better way to go is the solid axle, other than cost.
Way cooooool Truck!!

I have a Cognito lift on my lmm, i love it. Rides great. Buy all the extra b.s. for sure!! Personally I think 40's are too big for the 10" kit, go with 38's on 22's, unless your in high school and want to get the biggest tire mom will allow you to stuff under your truck and barely clear!
